Meet Cat and Derrick

Hello friend,

Our names are Cat and Derrick. We founded this company in late 2024 while discussing our dreams during an Ontarian road trip. We knew just three things:

1. We wanted to create something together,

2. share flavourful products with our friends and family,

3. and do it all while making a little difference. 

We’ve spent most of our lives working around food — from cooking in quick-service kitchens, to serving tables in busy tourist towns, to doing maintenance at food manufacturing plants. Between the late-night shifts, we’ve always made time for home-cooked meals, even if it meant cooking well past midnight. Sharing food with loved ones has always mattered to us, so losing a little sleep has always felt like a fair trade for time together around the table.

During these late nights, we often joked that I (Cat) “spice to color” rather than to taste, since my creations usually turned out beautifully red and dangerously spicy. We’ve never shied away from heat or from trying new flavor combinations — though these days, I’ve finally learned to measure.

What started as a few late-night experiments turned into something much bigger: a way to share the warmth, creativity, and connection that food has always brought into our lives. Our sauces are made with that same spirit — a love of flavor, a touch of art, and a desire to give back to the community that’s supported us along the way.
