GHS Happy Tails Gala
Tickets are on sale now for the Guelph Humane Society's largest fundraising event of the year, the Happy Tails Gala: Moonlight Midway. This carnival-inspired celebration will raise funds to provide lifesaving veterinary treatment, nutritious food, and safe shelter for homeless, injured, abused and abandoned animals.
This year we are honoured to participate in the auction portion of the event through a gift basket of our sauces and other goodies. We are so thankful for our continued partnership with GHS and wish them a fun and successful evening!
Fall Partnership with the Centre Wellington Food Bank
The Centre Wellington Food Bank is a member of Food Banks Canada and Feed Ontario (previously known as the Ontario Association of Food Banks). They are a pillar in the community and a valuable resource for food stability and accessibility. We are so happy to be partnering with them this fall, from October 24th to December 20th. During this time, 10% off all our sales (online and in person) will be donated directly to the Food Bank. Thank you for helping us make a difference to indivisuals in our community.
Summer Partnership with Guelph Humane Society
The Guelph Humane Society envisions a world where all animals are treated humanely, with respect and compassion. Their mission is to advocate for all animals, through care, education, community support, protection, and leadership. To achieve those goals, they provide animal sheltering, pet rehoming, adoption services, veterinary care, pet identification, a progressive spay/neuter program, and return of lost pets. They also provide care and assistance with sick, orphaned and injured wildlife.
Inspired by their amazing work (and our two rescue cats at home) we partnered with GHS from July 1st to August 31st, 2025. With your help, we were able to donate 10% of all sales to help support animal welfare in our community. Thank you for your support over the summer, we hope to partner with GHS again!
Drayton Agricultural Fair 2025
We were so lucky to attend the Drayton Agricultural Fair this year and represent Nine Lives Sauce Co. in our home town. Derrick and I moved to Drayton in November of 2020 and since then we have been overwhelmed by the welcoming spirit of our neighbors here. Drayton is a beautiful, historic, and expanding town that we are proud to call home.
Although there was a noticable heat wave, tons of families came out to the fair this year to enjoy the competitions, games, food, and shows that the weekend offered. Alongside our booth on the main strip were serveral wonderful vendors offering everything from tupperware to clothes to handmade art.
It was a pleasure to meet more friends from the Wellington area and learn more about what's going on in Drayton! Congratulations to all the competition winners and to the Agricultural Society for hosting a fantastic event. We can't wait to come back next year with more flavours and more fun merch!
